Regional Bike Plan Initiative
Getting around without using a car in town and between towns is more difficult in some areas than others. TCRPC is looking for opportunities to increase the miles of bike trails and bike lanes. The Greenways and Trails Task Force, which is dedicated to expanding the trails network in Woodford, Tazewell, and Peoria counties, will be studying possible trail routes that could give residents another option of how to get from place to place.
If you would like to see a certain road or area made more bike and pedestrian friendly, contact John Chambers at (309)673-9330. He will share your ideas with the Greenways and Trails Task Force and others who are interested.
